Healthy food can provide our body with essential nutrition including adequate essential amino acids from protein, lipids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and etc. According to the recent medical researches, the inseparable relationship between healthy food and medicine has been realized widely. Certain food can act like natural medicine against disease, such as improving absorption of nutrients, balancing blood glucose, controlling inflammation, balancing hormones, eliminating toxins and etc. Consequently, the dietary therapy has drawn much attention in the medical research.

The special issue aims to promote a greater knowledge and understanding of medicine and healthy food. In this special issue, we intend to invite original scientific research articles from the individuals and institutions.
