Big data is an information asset of high-volume, high-velocity and high-variety. As for the big data, its importance depends on what organization do with it, but not the amount of the data. Big data can be analyzed to seek methods to achieve the cost reductions, time reduction, new product development and optimized offerings, and smart decision making. Artificial intelligence has been widely adapted in multitude industries. It can also achieve smarter decisions by considering all the significant aspects of the business. When combining artificial intelligence with the big data, it can be a potent method for active and automated management.
The mission of the special issue is promoting the knowledge of significance and development of big data and artificial intelligence. The special issue is sincerely inviting original scientific research articles related to the topics on big data and artificial intelligence.
